Christine Finley, 87, of Amarillo died Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in West Park Cemetery in Hereford with Glen Walton of Bell Avenue Church of Christ officiating. Arrangements are by Angel Funeral Home, 2209 S. Arthur St.

Christine was born March 15, 1921, in Cooper to James and Ada Dailey. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a devoted wife. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John; and two sons, Bobby and Donald Finley.

Survivors include a daughter, Deana Ramirez and husband Rudy of Amarillo; a son, Richard Finley and wife Linda of Hot Springs, Ark.; two daughters-in-law, Vonda Finley of Amarillo and Shelly Finley of Lubbock; a sister, Ruby Goodman of Denison; her special friends, Betty Cumby and Robby Benson, both of Amarillo; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be to the High Plains Children's Home, P.O. Box 7448, Amarillo, TX 79114-7448.
