Graveside services for Krista Camile Day, age 67 of Seminole, Texas will be held Wednesday June 2, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Gaines County Cemetery with Jimmy Stevens officiating. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.

Mrs. Day was born December 31, 1953 in Eastland, Texas to Christine Marie (Parkhill) and Homer Parkhill Cole. She married Cacy Robert Day in Roswell, New Mexico on June 31, 1974. She worked at Head Start serving as a Director and prior to that was employed at the Health Department for many years. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her husband dearly as well as her family and friends. Krista was very welcoming and made sure she told everyone that they were loved. She didn't want attention drawn to herself and was a very private person.

Krista passed away May 29, 2021 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents. She was survived by her husband, Cacy of Seminole; two sons, Cacy Jr. and wife Ami, and Butch Allen and wife Kandace, both of Midland; one daughter, Terri Jo Day of Wolfforth, Texas; one brother, Scott Cole of Wolfforth, Texas; and five grandchildren, Joeli Day, Steven Day, Makenzie Day, Madilyn Day and Karlee Day.
