Viola Gyles, 86, of Hereford died Tuesday, June 11, 1991.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Dr. Jim Cory, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Gyles, formerly Viola Parker, was born in Alva, Okla. She moved to Hereford in 1933 from Oklahoma. She married Frank Gyles in 1937. He preceded her in death in 1971. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a son, Jack Kassahn of Lubbock; two brothers, Murl Parker of Hereford and Glenn Parker of Alva; four sisters, Anna Conklin, Jerrye Jackson and Pauline Albracht all of Hereford, and Mary Roos of Enid, Okla.; a grandson; a granddaughter; and three great-grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to the First Presbyterian Church.
