James F. Hart funeral service held Saturday
Funeral services for James Franklin Hart, 77, of 134 Ave. I, were conducted Saturday afternoon in Central Church of Christ by the minister, J.T. Marlin. Gililland Funeral Home directed burial in West Park cemetery.
Mr. Hart was dead on arrival, apparently of a heart attack, at Deaf Smith County Hospital Friday morning. He was a farm owner and had been a resident of Deaf Smith County since 1958.
A native of Limestone County, he was born Nov 20, 1893, and married Floy Gunnels in Odell in 1914. They came to this county from Floydada. He was a member of the Church of Christ and of the Masonic Lodge at Floydada.
Surviving are his wife, a son, Cecil Hart of Hereford, a sister, Mrs. Nita Gearhart of Amarillo; two brothers, Tom of Amarillo and Faye of Floydada, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
