Memorial services for Alvena Hill, 66, Tyler, Texas, are scheduled for noon Wednesday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Tyler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hill died Sept. 23, 2006, in Tyler.
She was born Dec. 9, 1939, in Shattuck, Okla., had lived in Tyler 16 years and was a Baptist. She was a graduate of Texas Woman's University and was an educational diagnostician.
She was preceded in death by father, Woodrow Wilson Ritcha.
Survivors include son, Michael Hill of Hereford, Texas, and Kathy Young of Carrollton, Texas; daughters, Terri Sauter and husband Steve of Carrollton, Texas, and Judith Showalter and husband Mike of North Richland Hills, Texas; mother and stepfather, Morris and Mildred Crider of Hereford, Texas; sister, Almona Holt of Tyler, Texas; grandchildren, James C. Livers and wife Annie of Tyler, Texas, Taylor Hill, Ryan and Alex, all of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Kyle and Kaleb Sauter of Carrollton, Texas; several nieces and nephews; and numerous friends.
Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
