On Thursday morning at 6:40 o'clock, Grandma Hodges, mother of Mrs. W.B. Beach, died after an illness of several months. While she had been afflicted for more than a year, she had been confined to her room only since the 17th of March, and her death was not unexpected by her relatives and friends. Grandma was 72 years, 11 months and 15 days of age and was a devout member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church.
The funeral services were conducted at the Baptist church at 5:30 o'clock Thursday evening by Rev. C.W. Dunn.
The Brand wishes to join in extending sympathy to the bereaved relatives.
