J.C. "Mac" McCracken, 91, of Hereford, died Sunday.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Joe Wood, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery, by Gililland-Watson Funeral Home.
Mr. McCrcken was born in Kingsley, Iowa, and came to Deaf Smith County in 1929 from Nebraska. He married Dessie Mae Steele in 1931 in Hereford. He was a retired implement dealer and rancher. He belonged to First United Methodist Church.
Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Sylvia McCullough of Wichita, Kan., four grandsons and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Jack McCracken, in 1980.
The family has requested that memorials be directed to Hereford Senior Citizens or First United Methodist Church.
