LUBBOCK, May 15 (AP) - A three-month-old boy, John Nixon Miles, was killed Thursday in a traffic accident on a farm road near New Home, 25 miles southwest of Lubbock.

The boy was in the arms of his aunt, Mrs. Ernest Ross, who was riding in a pickup truck which hit a bump on the dirt road. The right side door came unlocked and the two fell out. Mrs. Ross escaped injury but the child was dead on arrival at a Lubbock hospital.

The boy was the son of Wallace Miles, an airman stationed at Reese Air Force Base near Lubbock.
