Jackie Rae Threatt, 68, of Waco, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010, in a local nursing home. Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Monday, October 4, 2010, in T. K. Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, October 3, 2010, at Bellmead Funeral Home.
Jackie was born in Kennard, Texas, to the late Ralph Lofton and Vera Mae (Rushing) Carlton. She married James Donald "Sleepy" Threatt on February 12, 1972. Jackie was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Sleepy Threatt; and a son, Curtis Wayne Johnson.
Survivors include her daughter, Vera Hale, of Bellmead; son, Michael "Mike" Henry Threatt, of Bellmead; daughter-in-law, Tammy Johnson, of Axtell; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Jean Thompson and Ruth Hoover, both of Tyler; and several nieces and nephews.
