HEREFORD - Juan O. Pesina, 78, died Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2003.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in La Iglesia de San Jose with the Rev. Bill Anton of Lubbock officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mr. Pesina was born July 26, 1925, in Mexia, to Jose B. and Petra Pesina. He married Andrea Lozano on May 16, 1943, in Waco.
Survivors include his wife; five sons, John L. Pesina, Robert Pesina and Phillip Pesina, all of Lubbock, Joe Pesina of Plano and Raul Pesina of Hereford; two daughters, Andrea Salinas of San Antonio and Rosa Vallejo of Hereford; two brothers, Daniel Pesina and Julio Pesina, both of Hereford; 30 grandchildren; and 40 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson St., Amarillo, TX 79101; or Parkinson's Research, 4102 24th St., Suite 501, Lubbock, TX 79410.
