*Obituary
Mrs. Helen E. Savage, 64, died Sep 17, 1950 at her home in Axtell TX. Services at Axtell Baptist church with burial in T.K. Cemetery.
Mrs. Savage was born in Missouri and moved to Texas when she was 10 years old and had lived in Axtell for 43 years.
In 1910 she graduated from Baylor University and was employed as a teacher in the Axtell area.
Mrs. Savage was a member of WMU Axtell Baptist church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
Survivors: husband, Ed Savage of Axtell TX; daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Cox of McGregor TX; sisters, Miss Jessie Mallory, Mrs. Marvin Clark , Mrs. Mattie Martin and Mrs. Drew Seawell all of Pittsburg; and brother, John W. Mallory of Lubbock.
