HEREFORD — Nilda Galicia Pinales, 67, of Hereford died Sunday, July 13, 2014, in Amarillo.
Prayer services will be at 6 p.m. today in Victory Church, 3605 N. U.S. Highway 385. Celebration of life services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Good News Church. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home, 411 E. Sixth St. in Hereford.
Nilda was born May 17, 1947, in Pharr to Felipe and Natalia Campos Galicia. She was an ordained minister for United Pentecostal Church and Assembly of God Church. She graduated from West Texas State University and was a teacher in Friona, Hereford and Plainview.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include the love of her life and husband, Armando Pinales; three daughters, Aracely Grant and husband Leo of Marshall, Va., and Carolyn Arriazola and husband Pablo and Deborah Balderaz and husband Henry, all of Hereford; two sons, Armando Pinales Jr. of Amarillo and Gabriel Pinales and wife Salena of Hereford; two brothers, Richard Galicia of Fresno, Calif., and John Galicia of Sacramento, Calif.; three sisters, Lydia Lozoya of Sacramento, Beatrice Meza of Woodland, Calif., and Esther Warren of Round Rock; and 13 grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Victory Church, 3605 N. U.S. Highway 385, Hereford, TX 79045.
