Marjorie Nell Polk, 90 of Bellevue, TX, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 18th, 2021 in Bowie, TX.
Funeral services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 21st, at the Stoneburg Baptist Church in Stoneburg, TX with Larry Kennedy and Greg Robinson officiating.
Burial will follow at McDonald Cemetery in Bowie.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, December 20th, at the White Family Funeral Home in Bowie.
Marjorie was born April 15th, 1931 in Montague County, TX to Rias and Lillie (Dyer) Russell. She was raised around Prairie Valley and graduated from Prairie Valley High School in 1949. On April 18, 1953, Marjorie married Billy Wayne Polk in Sunset, TX. Billy preceded her in death in 1991. Marjorie worked as a CNA for Bellmire Nursing Home for over 20 years. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Billy Wayne Polk.
Marjorie is survived by her daughter Debra Diane Kennedy and husband Larry of Bellevue; grandchildren Candi Ratliff and husband Rob of Bellevue and Penny Robinson and husband Greg of Farmington, MO; great-grandchildren Abigail Ratliff, Peyton Robinson and Parker Robinson; sister Sue Richey and husband Babe of Midland, TX; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Should friends desire, memorials can be made in honor of Marjorie to the Stoneburg Baptist Church.
