John T. Williams, 57, of 511 Schley died early Saturday morning in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo after a lengthy illness.

Mr. Williams was a used car dealer in Hereford. He was born Jan. 24, 1921 in Dumas, Ark. He came to Hereford in 1970 from New Mexico. He married Mary Lou Bauler in 1963 in Springer, N.M. He was a member of Avenue Baptist Church and a veteran of World War II.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary Bandy, pastor of Greenwood Baptist Church officiating assisted by the Rev. Bill Fraser, pastor of Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Westpark Cemetery.

He is survived by the widow, Mary Lou; four sons, Randy Williams and Michael Richardson, both of Hereford, Michael Williams of Calif.; Steven Richardson of Houston; four daughters, Darlene Cornelius and Patsy Webb, both of Hereford; Sharon Gott of Batesville, Ark., and Barbara Hobbs of Raton, N.M.; two brothers, Gilford Williams of Oregon and Charles Williams of Rolto, Calif.; two sisters, Virginia Swanner of Douglas, Kan. and Edna Young of Dallas; 13 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

HEREFORD — Mary Lou Williams, 81, of Hereford died Monday, Jan. 5, 2015.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Avenue Baptist Church with the Rev. Billy Joe Wall, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home of Hereford.

Mrs. Williams was born Dec. 24, 1933, in Mills, N.M., to John and Iris Lolamaugh Bauler. She married John Williams in 1961 in Springer, N.M.

Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Finley and Patsy Watts, both of Hereford, and Darlene Cornelius of Austin; two sons, Michael Richardson of Hereford and Randy Williams of Lakin, Kan.; three sisters, Barbara Martin and Irene Bauler, both of Hereford, and Nancy Fluham of Roy, N.M.; four brothers, Jerry Bauler of Lubbock, Phillip Bauler of Trinidad, Colo., Pat Bauler of Ohio and Daniel Bauler of Hereford; 12 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to Plains Medical Foundation, 310 W. Halsell St., Dimmitt, TX. 79027; or a favorite charity.
