HEREFORD - Santos Rincon Sr., 82, died Tuesday, July 27, 2010.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Thursday in La Iglesia de San Jose with the Rev. John Valdez as celebrant. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mr. Rincon was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Sinton to Juan Rincon and Nicomedez Ramirez Rincon. He married Catarina Elizardo on May 8, 1947, in Sinton.
Survivors include nine daughters, Nicky Ramos of Woodrow, Alicia Garcia of Sinton, Sylvia Mata of Borger, Delia Vasquez of Lyford, Susan Nava of Moses Lake, Wash., Yolanda Casias and JoAnn Morales, both of Hereford, Mary Sanchez of Welch, and Diana Garcia of Rockwall; six sons, Emilio Rincon of Lubbock, David Rincon of Dawn, Freddy Rincon of Wildorado, Santos Rincon Jr. and Johnny Rincon, both of Hereford, and Richard Rincon of Canyon; a sister, Janie Rincon; two brothers, Oscar Rincon and Arthur Rincon; 70 grandchildren; and 135 great-grandchildren.

HEREFORD - Catarina Rincon, 80, died Wednesday, June 18, 2008, in Amarillo.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel of Hereford. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, June 20, 2008 at La Iglesia de San Jose with the Rev. David Contreras officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Rincon was born Jan. 2, 1928, in Sinton to Francisco and Maria Lugo Elizardo. On May 8, 1947, she married Santos Rincon in Sinton and was a homemaker in Hereford.
Survivors include her husband; nine daughters, Alicia Garcia of Sinton, Nicky Ramos of Woodrow, Sylvia Mata of Borger, Delia Vasquez of Lyford, Susan Nava of Moses Lake, Wash., Yolanda Casias and Jo Ann Morales, both of Hereford, Mary Sanchez of Welch and Diana Garcia of Rockwall; six sons, Emilio Rincon of Lubbock, David Rincon of Dawn, Santos Rincon Jr. and Johnny Rincon, both of Hereford, Freddy Rincon of Wildorado and Richard Rincon of Canyon; her mother, Maria Rodriquez of Lubbock, four sisters, Emma Elizardo Molina, Josie Lopez, Ida Martinez and Eva Sarate, all of Lubbock; four brothers, Raymond Rodriquez and Billy Rodriquez, both of Lubbock, Frank Elizardo of Arizona and Mingo Elizardo of Fort Smith, Ark.; 70 grandchildren; and 150 great-grandchildren.
