HEREFORD - Joe West, 51, died Saturday, June 8, 2002.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in First Baptist Church of Hereford with the Rev. Terry Cosby officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery by Parkside Chapel Funeral Home.
Mr. West was born Oct. 5, 1950, in Lubbock, the son of Samie and Wanda West. He was a retired farmer and loved to fish and play bridge.
Survivors include a son, Dale West of London, England; a daughter, Jill McCracken of Hereford; his mother and stepfather, Wanda and Truman Riddle of Lubbock; a brother, Jay West of Hereford; a sister, Jan Tardy of Austin; and six grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to Crown of Texas Hospice, 1000 S. Jefferson, Amarillo, TX 79109; or to the Hereford Senior Citizens Meals on Wheels, 426 Ranger, Hereford, TX 79045.
