*Obituary
HEREFORD, Oct. 3 (Special) - John W. Robinson, 79-year-old pioneer resident of Hereford, died this afternoon following an illness of seven days.

He came to Hereford in July, 1901, and gained wide reputation and was prominent as a stock farmer. He was an active member of the Christian Church during the long residence here.

Funeral services will be conducted by Rev. H.M. Redford Monday afternoon at the First Christian Church here.

Survivors include the widow, Leara [sic] Robinson, three sons, James R., John P., and Thomas Robinson, all of Hereford, one daughter, Mrs. R.M. Holman of Amarillo, a brother, C.E. Robinson, and sister, Mrs. J.H. Boydston, both of Hereford. Also six grand children and three great grand children, survive.
