*Obituary Jess Lee Robinson
HEREFORD - Jess Robinson, 83, died Monday, March 29, 2004.

Mr. Robinson was the vocational agriculture teacher in the Hereford school system for 28 years. He sponsored the Hereford Young Farmers Association. He was past commander of American Legion Post No. 192. He served in the Army in
World War II in the 63rd Division Field Artillery.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia; four sons, Lee Robinson of Odessa, Otis Robinson of Smithfield, N.C., Jess A. Robinson of Story City, Iowa, and Ira Robinson of Pflugerville; four brothers, Arthur Robinson of Hereford, Cleo Robinson, Leroy Robinson and C.W. Robinson, all of Amarillo; four sisters, Eunice Mathis of Midland, Mary Louise Owen of Lubbock, Olene Jett of Quail, and Shirley Brown of Amarillo; and 13 grandchildren.

Patricia Jeanne Robinson 89, formerly of Hereford, Texas went home to be with her Lord on Monday, July 17, in Granbury, TX. A visitation for Patricia is scheduled for Friday, July 21, from 6 pm to 8 pm, in the Hereford Heritage Funeral Home Rose Chapel. A graveside Service will be held Saturday, July 22, at 2 pm at the West Park Cemetery in Hereford, TX.

Patricia was born March 12, 1928 to Ira and Irene Brown in Tulia, TX where she grew up. Patricia met Jess Robinson while attending Texas Tech and they were married on August 14, 1948. Patricia and Jess moved to Hereford from Vega, TX in 1954. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church of Hereford. She enjoyed going to the Hereford Senior Citizen Center when she could with her husband, Jess.

She was a member of the Bud to Blossom Garden Club and also served as a state flower show judge for many years. Patricia was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and also served in local and state leadership roles in that organization. She had a lifelong love of genealogy, tracing the family history back many generations. In 2009, she moved to Odessa, TX to be closer to her son, Lee. In 2016, Patricia moved to Granbury, TX with her son Lee. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Jess, her parents Ira and Irene Brown, her sisters Alice Bean and Elaine Wilson, and grandson Jeffery. She is survived and will be dearly missed by her sons Lee and wife Tommie, Otis and wife Helen, Jess and wife Stacy, and Ira and wife Linda.

Patricia leaves behind her beloved grandchildren Morgan and wife Amy, Keith and wife Kelsey, Jared and wife Lynn, Adam and wife Patricia, Daniel and wife Sara, Timothy and wife Audrey, Jessica and husband Ben, Stephen and wife Mallery, Jonathan and wife Aryn, William, and McKenna Rowlett and husband Landon, Kelsey, 14 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
