Services for Charley Shipley, 76, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jarrell Sharp pastor, and the Rev. H. Thurston, retired pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in West Park Cemetery under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Shipley died yesterday.
Mr. Shipley was born in Fredrick, Okla., and moved to Hereford in 1941 from Levelland. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First United Methodist Church. He married Mary Ann Tisdale in 1924 at Hollis, Okla.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Donald Shipley of Hereford and Roger Shipley of Hutchison, Kan.; two brothers, Woodrow Shipley of Littlefield and Benny Shipley of Amherst; two sisters, Laura Crall of Weatherford, Okla.; and Lora Edwards of Stanford; four grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Mary Ann Shipley, 86, of Hereford died early Thursday.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by Rix Funeral Directors.
A native of Clarksville, Mrs. Shipley had lived in Hereford 52 years. She married Charlie Shipley on Dec. 23, 1924. He died Feb. 1, 1982. She was a member of First United Methodist Church.
Survivors are two sons, Donald Shipley of Hereford and Roger Shipley of Hutchinson, Kan., five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
