HEREFORD (Special) - Services for Henry Pickens Thomas, 52, will be at 2 p.m. today in the Central Church of Christ here. Officiating will be J.T. Marlin, minister and Bob Ware of Littlefield.
Burial will be in West Park Cemetery directed by Gililland Funeral Home.
Thomas died Monday in Deaf Smith County Hospital following an illness of one month.
A native of Haskell County, he came to Hereford in 1951 from Carlsbad, N.M. He was a mechanic.
Survivors include his wife; Alta; a son, Edwin of Venezuela; two daughters, Mrs. Christine Evans and Mrs. Jo Ann Short, both of Hereford; his mother, Mrs. Mollie Thomas of Littlefield; two brothers, Z.B. of Lubbock and Zollie of O'Brien; three sisters, Mrs. J.A. Rader and Mrs. Grover Durham, both of Hereford, and Mrs. Earnest Goertz of Littlefield; and five grandchildren.
