SEAGRAVES -- Celebration of Life Services for Annette Griffin David will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 25, 2021 in the Seagraves Auditorium with Pastor Reed officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery of Seagraves under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.
Annette passed away on September 15, 2021 in Lubbock.
Annette Griffin was born on August 31, 1962 in Lamesa to the late Henry Griffin, Jr. and the late Willie Doris Griffin. Annette attended and graduated from Seagraves High School in 1980. She was baptized at a young age in Denver City at 1st Baptist Church and attended United Faith Missionary Baptist Church. Annette shared 41 years with her husband, Rodis David, Jr. and they were married on March 31, 1987. Annette worked in various occupations, including 10 years with GTE and 17 years with Seminole Memorial Hospital where she retired in July of 2021.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry Griffin, Jr. and Willie Doris Griffin and sister-n-law, Beverly Jackson.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband Rodis David, Jr. of Seagraves; three sons Rodis David, III of Killeen, Malcolm David and Pricillia of Seminole, DeMarcus David and Lisa of Denver City; four brothers Kenny Jackson, Wendell and Ola Griffin, Ronnie and Trish Griffin and Darren and Monty Griffin; two sisters Lynda Loach and Shawna Davis and nine grandchildren. She also leaves a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and two special friends Trish Griffin and Joan Adams.
Family visitation will be held Friday, September 24, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Seagraves.
