Funeral services for James "Jim" Middleton, 83, of Seagraves will be conducted today, Wednesday, May 1, 2019 at 10:00 A.M. in the First Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Reynolds officiating. Interment will follow in the Gaines County Cemetery with services under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Denver City.

He passed away Friday, April 26th in Waco.

Jim was born October 23, 1935 in Palestine to John Henry and Stella Lee Middleton.

He was a lifelong resident of Seagraves, Texas where he and Gladys Dean Metcalf married on April 15, 1958. Jim was the owner and operator for G & J Roustabout Company and a member of the First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a son; two brothers; three sisters; and a granddaughter.

Jim is survived by his wife Gladys Dean Middleton; his son Mike Middleton of Seagraves; five daughters Cynthia Snapp of Van Burin, Ark, Theresa Gann of Midland, Stacey Middleton and Deana Middleton both of Waco, Christina Burlington of Valley Miles; a brother Bobby Lewis Middleton of Lubbock.

In lieu of flowers the family would like memorials be made to the MS Foundation.

Family visitation was held Tuesday, April 30, 2019 from 6-8 P.M. in the Ratliff Funeral Home Chapel of Seagraves, Texas.

Funeral Services for Gladys Dean Middleton, 83, of Seagraves will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 4, 2022 at First Baptist Church in Seagraves, Tx with Pastor Rick Sullivan officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home of Seagraves.

Gladys passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022 in Waco, Tx.

She was born April 28, 1938 in Rising Star, Texas to Thomas Parker and Mattie Valeria Edmiston Metcalf. She married James Edward Middleton on April 15, 1958 in Seagraves, Tx. She was a lifelong resident of Seagraves and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Edward Middleton, parents; Parker and Valeria Metcalf, son; Edward Dean Middleton, granddaughter; Kerri Ann Dickey, two sisters; Margie Lee Metcalf and Mary Metcalf, and brother Billy Wayne Metcalf.

Gladys is survived by five daughters; Cynthia Snapp of Van Buren, Arkansas, Theresa Gann of Midland, Tx, Stacey Middleton of Ropesville, Tx, Deana Middleton of Waco, Tx, Christina Burlington of Valley Miles, Tx, son Mike Middleton of Seagraves, Tx, sixteen grandchildren, and twenty-nine great-grandchildren.
