Funeral services for Ben Tolley will be held this afternoon at 2:30 in the chapel of N.S. Griggs and Sons. Dr. A.D. Foreman, Jr., pastor of the First Baptist Church, will officiate.
Pallbearers will be John B. Gilvin, T.M. Bruner, Arthur Osgood, W.D. DeGrassi, T.H. Farrell, and J.M. McMahan. Honorary pallbearers will be all members of the Kimbrough Bible Class, of which he was a member and all employees of the Southwestern Life Insurance Company.
After funeral services the body will be taken to Hereford for burial there.
Mr. Tolley, who was 82 years old, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday night. He had lived in Amarillo for 31 years, and had been employed by the Southwestern Life Insurance Company for the past seven years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
His wife, Mrs. Minnie Lee Tolley; two daughters, Mrs. Willard Throop, Knoxville, Tenn., and Miss Eula Tolley, Sarasota, Fla.; one son John K. Tolley; and four grandchildren survive.
