HEREFORD — Beatrice R. Torres, 74, of Hereford died Saturday, June 2, 2012.
Prayer vigil will be at 6:30 p.m. today in Hereford
Heritage Funeral Home Chapel of Memories. Celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. John Valdez, pastor of St. Anthony's Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hereford Heritage Funeral Home of Hereford.
Beatrice was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Crystal City to Mateo and Consuelo Lomas
Rodriguez. She married Jose Enrique Torres in August 1975 in Lubbock.
Survivors include three daughters, Norma Torres and Laura Acuna, both of
Hereford, and Rosa Benavidez of Tahoka; three sons, Jose "Henry" Torres, Rayes Rivera and Martin Rivera, all of
Hereford; three brothers, Robert Rodriguez of Lubbock, Armando Rodriguez of Austin and Pedro Rodriguez of O'Donnell; 35 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to the Hereford Dialysis Center, 533 N. 25 Mile Ave., Hereford, TX 79045.
