HEREFORD - Victoriana Diaz Vallejo, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 19, 2009.
Prayer vigil will be at 7 p.m. today in Rix Funeral Directors Chapel. Celebration of life services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home chapel with Albert and Ernest Cantu officiating. Burial will be in West Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Vallejo was born Nov. 26, 1928, in Mission to Francisco and Maximinia Balderaz Diaz. She married Eriberto Vallejo on June 8, 1943, in LaVilla.
Survivors include five sons, Filiberto Vallejo, Francisco Vallejo, Guadalupe Vallejo and Daniel Vallejo, all of Hereford, and Abraham Vallejo of Amarillo; three daughters, Jana Tijerina, Ofelia Garcia and Maria Elena Vallejo, all of Hereford; 30 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials be to American Heart Association, 2514 82nd St., Suite B, Lubbock, TX 79423.
