Funeral services for Darrell Keith Farmer, age 49 of Hobbs, New Mexico will be held Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at M.S. Doss Chapel in Seminole with Pastor Gilbert Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Darrell Farmer was born October 27, 1972 in Odessa, Texas to Jamie Kay (Boyd) and Howard Dean Farmer. He was a Baptist and worked as a lease operator in the oilfield. Darrell loved the Lord and shared God with many. He enjoyed researching and building things, and had a passion for motorcycles. He also loved his sister's cooking, but especially loved his mom's banana pudding. He was always very smart and witty; he laughed a lot and had a great sense of humor. He loved deeper than the ocean and loved his two boys more than anything; he was so very proud of the young men they have grown into.
Darrell Farmer passed away in Seminole, Texas Saturday, August 13, 2022. He is preceded in death by his brother, Nathan James Farmer; his grandparents, Dean and Mary Ellen Farmer; and his granny, Charlotte Boyd.
