Funeral services for Howard Farmer, age 75 of Lubbock, Texas, will be held Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at M.S. Doss Chapel at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Gil Ramirez officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home of Seminole.
Mr. Farmer was born October 8, 1948 in El Paso, Texas to Mary Ellen (Geaslin) and Dean Farmer. He married Jamie Boyd in Jal, New Mexico on November 22, 1968. He worked for El Paso Natural Gas for 41 years and achieved a manager position. He was a Baptist, and his favorite team was Texas Tech Red Raiders. He enjoyed playing computer games and loved old cars. Howard adored his children and grandchildren.
Howard Farmer went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 3, 2023 at his home in Lubbock, Texas.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sons, Darrell and Nathan Farmer. He is survived by his wife, Jamie Farmer of Lubbock, Texas; three sons, David Farmer and wife Pat, and Tye Farmer and wife Espy, both of Seminole, Texas and Jonathan Farmer and wife Jessica of Snyder, Texas; one daughter, Jowana Villalobos and husband Roger of Hobbs, New Mexico; one brother, Richard Farmer and wife Pat of Grand Lake, Colorado; his father-in-law, George Boyd; one daughter-in-law, Taryn Griffin and husband Matt of Snyder, Texas; 22 grandchildren, and seven great-grand
