ADRIAN - Dora May Gadberry Perry, 100, died Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2006.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church in Adrian with the Rev. Dee Slocum officiating. Burial will be at 3:30 p.m. in Fairmont Cemetery in Follett by Boxwell Brothers Funeral Home of Perryton.

Mrs. Perry was born July 6, 1906, near Logan, in Beaver County, Okla. She had lived in Adrian since 1974, moving from California.

She married Ralph Wesley Perry in March 1927 in Lipscomb. He preceded her in death in 1965.

She worked as an LVN in California for 13 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Adrian.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, William Eugene and Catherine Barbara Gadberry.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley Betts of Adrian and Eulane Deese of Live Oak, Fla.; two sons, Holt Russell Perry of Mount Vernon and Wesley Lee Perry of Roswell, N.M.; two stepdaughters, Mary Varnon of New Florence, Mo., and Judy Dorval of Apple Valley, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 20 great-great-grandchildren.

The family suggests memorials be to First Baptist Church building fund, Adrian, TX 79034, Fairmont Cemetery, in care of First National Bank, 241 Main, Follett, TX 79034 or a favorite charity.

Viewing will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today at Boxwell Brothers Funeral Directors in Vega.
