"Loving Wife of Charles and Bud
Grandma Charlie of 24 Grandchildren"

Obituary:
Leona Woolley Redinger Treat "Grandma Charlie" passed away the morning of January 16, 2013 at Mercy Hospital. Leona was born to Elmer and Elsie Woolley January 23,1934. On May 14, 1950 she was married to Charles Redinger and to this union 2 children were born, Don Redinger and Gayle Redinger Levings. She lived south of Laverne with Charles on the farm where they grew hay, raised cattle and formed a denim purse company called Denim Delights. Leona made and sold purses all over the nation. She was an accomplished seamstress who made several wedding dresses, formals, and enjoyed teaching her grandkids how to sew and knit sweaters and hats. They enjoyed traveling to Red River, New Mexico to ride four wheelers and trail bikes through the mountains. When Charles passed away March 17, 1988, Leona continued to travel and work her purse business. In October of 1991, she married Bud Treat and moved to Laverne. Bud and Leona were members of Good Sams RV club and enjoyed traveling to area lakes to go camping. They were happily married for 5 wonderful years until Bud passed away in June of 1997. Leona turned to her friends for support and loved meeting up with them at Conoco and the Tiger Hut for coffee on most mornings. In 1998, she ran into Raymond Clyburn at Braums in Woodward and they started a friendship that continued to grow through the years. They enjoyed taking trips, cruises and going to rodeos, until Leona lost her eyesight in 2007. She then moved to Edmond, OK to live with her daughter Gayle and son-in-law Wilford and also spent time in Arkansas with her son Don and daughter-in-law Pam. In 2012 Don and Pam bought a house just one block south of Wilford and Gayle and she was so excited to have her family all together. Leona would alternate living one month at one place and the next month at the other.

Leona had a large loving family and nothing made her happier than spending time with her grandkids. She was sure to be found at one of her grandkids and great-grandkids sporting events, stock shows, academic meets, plays, and whatever else they were involved in. She was a wonderful storyteller and had a great memory of each child growing up through the years. Sundays at church, holidays, or weekends when family was over, was her favorite time. She always had someone on her lap or holding their hand. Although she could barely see, she always knew her grandbabies.

She was proceeded in death by her husbands Charles Redinger and Bud Treat, parents Elmer and Elsie Woolley, brothers and sister-n-laws Walter and Dorothy Woolley and Kenneth and Florence Woolley, and Lela Woolley, in-laws Dick and Rose Redinger, Hazel and Columbus Treat, brother-in-law and sister-n-law Dick and Shirley Burke and Dale Fleming and sister-in-law Thelma Overton.

She is survived by son, Don and wife Pam Redinger of Edmond; daughter, Gayle and husband Wilford Levings of Edmond; dear friend Raymond Clyburn; grandchildren Kenton and Brandi Levings and children Kendra, Katelyn and Karsten of Oklahoma City, Mark and Amber Levings and children, Jewelia, Morgian, Jordyn, Alexus, Kaleb and Cyla of Claremore, Michael and Jenny Redinger and children, Haven, Rylee, Taylen, Trey, Mercedes, and Lilli of Alva, Cory and Bobby Redinger and children, Lany, Toby and Zandry of Edmond, Nikki and Chris Stromlund and children, Matthew, Olivia and Ellie of Kunming China, Kelli & Jeff Dean of Moore, and Nicole & Landon Highfill and daughter Cambrey of Edmond, brother Clarence & wife Donna Woolley of Springdale AR, brother Paul and wife Joyce Woolley of Amarillo TX, Sister-in-law June Fleming of Logan, step-children Jay and Tina Treat, Sister-in-law, Lavena and husband Leo Tyrell of Pampa TX and lots of nieces, nephews and cousins.
