Services for Iva Pearl Merrick were held in the Sand Spring Church of Christ where she was a member. She married J.R. Merrick on 19 July 1908 in the Moore Community in Howard County and had lived in the county since then. Survivors include her husband; two daughters; three sons; one brother; three sisters; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
