Ross “Roundman” Roberts, 93, of Coahoma, passed away, Monday, March 30, 2020.
Private family graveside services will be 4:00 PM Wednesday, April 1, 2020, at the Coahoma Cemetery.
He was born April 8, 1926 in Coahoma and married Loreta Fern Kiser March 25, 1944 in Stanton. She preceded him in death October 11, 2009.
Ross served in the United States Navy during World War II.
He worked as a pumper for Fina for 32 years and owned and operated Roberts Auto Supply in Coahoma for 40 years.
He enjoyed gardening and fishing and was a member of the Coahoma Church of Christ.
Survivors include three children, Linda Robertson of Lubbock, Gary Roberts and wife, Twylia of Coahoma, and Gayla Carlile and husband, Albert of Colorado City; five grandchildren, Tina Frazier, Tara Vancil, Regi Roberts, Jayci Brock and Kynzi Kaczyk; and eight great-grandchildren, Ashlyn Frazier, Kaylie Kaczyk, Hayden Vancil, Saydee Vancil, Covy Brock, Finley Brock, Rayce Roberts and Kavan Kaczyk.
He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Heath Carlile; and a son-in-law, Jerry Robertson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Bruce Allen, Marty Brooks, Terry Denton, Hayden Vancil, Rodney Brooks, Danny Walker, Patric Robinson and Donnie Reid.
The family suggests memorials to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alzfdn.org.
