Sylvia Rodriguez, 63, of Big Spring died Sunday, July 16, 2017, at her residence.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:00 PM Monday and the Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 PM at Myers & Smith Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Tuesday at Myers & Smith Chapel with Norberto Guzman officiating. Burial will be at Coahoma Cemetery.
Sylvia was born on January 29, 1954, in Rochester, Texas to Margarita and Antonio Rodriguez.
She came to Big Spring in 2000 from San Antonio, where she lived most of her life.
She was a homemaker, and spent most of her life caring for other family members.
She was a Catholic.
Sylvia is survived by one sister: Emma Granado and her husband Thomas of Big Spring; and several nieces and nephews.,
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers: George Rodriguez and Antonio Rodriguez, Jr.; and one sister: Isabella Fabela.
