Patty Heckler Brewer, 53, of San Angelo, Texas, formerly of Big Spring, Texas, died on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 18, 2011, at the Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with Ron Westbrook, officiating. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born on January 28, 1958, in Merkel, Texas.

Patty married at the age of 15 and was a caring housewife and mother for over 20 years. She received an associates degree from Howard College and worked in the field of medical transcription and billing for over 15 years.

Survivors include her husband, Bob Brewer of San Angelo; three sons, Brad Heckler of Austin, Brian Heckler and wife, Lisa of College Station, and Patrick Heckler and wife, Misty of Big Spring; one sister, Jana Morphis and one brother, Michael Lockhart, both of Big Spring; her step-father, Bob Miller; eight grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gene Lockhart and Elizabeth Williamson Miller; and one brother Danny Lockhart.

Arrangements under the direction of Nalley-Pickle & Welch Funeral Home & Crematory of Big Spring.
