Joseph Lesley Christensen, 74, of El Paso and formerly of Big Spring, died Sunday, Dec. 21, 1997, in El Paso. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.
He was born Sept. 22, 1923, in Memphis, Texas.
A Marine Corps veteran, he had owned J. L. Christensen Boot Shop and was a quality control officer for Sanders Bootmakers in El Paso.
He was a member of Trinity First Methodist Church in El Paso.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Christensen of El Paso; a daughter, Lynn McDowell of Grand Prairie; two grandsons; an aunt and an uncle; and several nieces and nephews.
