BARGER RITES SET AT GOREE - Mrs. C.E. Barger, 74, resident of the Goree area for the past 30 years, died in a Seymour hospital early Monday following surgery. She was born Feb., 8, 1887, in Tennessee. SHe was the former Miss Zena Vaden. She was a member of the Four Square Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm Tuesday from the First Baptist Church here. Rev. Roy Don Rhoades, pastor, will officiate, assisted by Rev. Lynward Harrison, pastor of the First Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Goree Cemetery, McCauley Funeral Home, Munday, in charge. Survivors include her husband, of Goree: five daughers, Mrs. Dixie Bradley and Mrs. Fleta Mayo, both of Goree, Mrs. Barbara Coffman, Munday, Mrs. Etta Mae Frazier, Midland, Texas nad Mrs. Dorothy Williams, Pasadena, Texas; three sons, Everett of Goree and Norris and Jack, both of Fort Worth; a brother, Van Vaden, Seymour; five sisters, Mrs. Clara Milam, Mrs. Willie Green and Mrs. Bee Barton, all of Paris, Texas and Mrs. Mittie Keith, Tyler, Texas; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
