Martha K. Haynie Crump, 93, of Andrews passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 in Andrews.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate her life at 10:00 AM Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Chad Clark of Midland officiating. Interment will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery. Please celebrate her life by visiting www.mcnettfuneralhome.com.

Martha was born on March 5, 1925 in Foard County, Texas to Albert Ruffin Arp and Ruby Kathryn Blackwell Arp. She was raised in Vernon and attended schools in Vernon. She married William Rexle Haynie on September 25, 1945 in Vernon, Texas. They had lived in Stamford, Truscott, Cisco, Big Lake, and moved to Andrews in 1958, where she had worked at Heights Department Store and C.R. Anthony. They moved to Levelland in 1978 and then Lubbock in 1989, where she retired in 1993 from C.R. Anthony, which later became Bealls. Rex preceded her in death on May 14, 1993. She loved to crochet, coffee, read books, play cards, dominoes, and was an avid bowler, where she traveled to bowl and was a member of the Lubbock Bowling Association. Rex and Martha had been members of the Second Baptist Church in Levelland. While in Andrews, Rex and Martha were founding members of Northcrest Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir and taught the children’s Sunday school class. She married William Delano Crump on January 5, 2002 in Lubbock, and he preceded her in death on August 13, 2011. She returned to Andrews in 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents, daughter, Pam Lunceford in 1978, 4 sisters, Marjorie Towery, Jean Neighbors, Lucy Vest, and Tommie Berryhill, 3 brothers, Ernest, Ruffin, and Joe Arp, son in law, Steve Swan, granddaughter, Lindsey Anne, and great granddaughter, Tatum Cate Thomas. She loved people and never met a stranger, which she passed on to all her children and grandchildren.

Martha is survived by her 2 daughters, Donna Swan of Fort Worth and Pat and Reo Brownlee of Andrews, 2 sons, Dwayne and Carolyn Haynie of Hondo, TX and Robert and Jana Haynie of Lubbock, 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
