Services for Mrs. Mary Guest, 87, were held at First Baptist Church officiated by the pastor, Rev. Frank Fostero.
Mrs. Guest was the last charter member of the Aspermont Baptist Church. She died at the home of a son, J.C. Guest, in Abilene, Texas. She married in 1890 at Thurber, Texas. She and her husband soon moved to Aspermont where they operated a grocery business. He preceded her in death.
Survived by one son - J.C .Guest; one daughter - Mrs. Will Dunwoody; two brothers - John F. Jordan and Jess Jordan; one niece raised by Mrs. Guest, Mrs. Earl Senter; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
