Norma Jean Smith, age 92, of Odessa, Texas passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at her home.

Norma was born May 10, 1930 in Russellville, Arkansas to the late Lillie (Money) and John Alford Richey.

She married Bobby Smith in 1949 and they were married until his death in 2005.

She worked as a beautician and enjoyed sewing, quilting and dollmaking.

She was a loving mother, wife and grandmom who loved all of her friends and family. Most importantly, she loved God!

Norma is survived by her son, Daylan Smith; daughter, Vicki Day; brother, Chester Money; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Smith; and parents, John Richey and Lillie West.

The family will receive friends for visitation Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 4-8 PM at the funeral home. Memorial services will be held Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1 PM at Belmont Baptist Church. Graveside services will be held privately by the family.
