Services for Ernest Raymond Runt Wortham, 96, of San Angelo and formerly of Andrews will be Friday at 2:00 PM at McNett Funeral home Chapel in Andrews. Rev. Guy Crawford will officiate. Burial will be in Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Runt passed away in San Angelo Wednesday, September 3, 2013.

He was born June 14, 1917 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life, Ruby Faye Mays, October 17, 1941 in Idabel. They made their home in Andrews in 1950. Runt had an extensive career in the oil field and retired in 1995.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps and was very proud to be a World War II veteran.
He and Ruby were charter members of Wesley United Methodist Church in Andrews.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Ruby and his daughter, Judy Rea Cate.

He is survived by his daughter/Granddaughter, Stacye Jackson of San Angelo. Raymond also leaves behind two son-in-laws, Terry Cate and Tommy Jackson both of San Angelo and three nieces, Cathy Burgen and Velma Hancock both of Andrews and Sandra Simpson of Hollister, MO and one nephew, Randy Wonders.

Services for Ruby Mays Wortham 90 , of Andrews, will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 20, 2007 in McNett Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Rev. Dan Galloway. Burial will follow in the Andrews Old Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. Ruby passed away in San Angelo, Texas Thursday, October 18, 2007.
She was born on July 21, 1917 in Idabel, Oklahoma. She married Raymond Wortham on October 17, 1941 in Idabel, Oklahoma, they were married 66 years. Ruby and Raymond moved to Andrews in 1950. Ruby was a homemaker and a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church.
Survivors include ,husband Raymond, Andrews, daughters; Judy Rae Cate and husband husband Terry, Stacye Jackson and husband Tommy all of San Angelo, Texas, one Step-Grandchildren and four step-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers; Raymond J. Mays, James W. Mays and Burl Mays, three sisters; Helen B. Mays, Ester Lea Wonders and Hazel Tompkins. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2007 at the funeral home.
