Funeral services for Wanda Mae Carr, 84, of Andrews wil be be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 21, 2005 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Pastor Steve Long of Second Baptist Chuch officiating. Burial will follow in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home. She died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at Permian Residentail Care Center in Andrews.
She was born June 6, 1920 in Lone Wolf, OK., to Harry Vanner and Allie Mae Chester Lantz. She moved to Andrews in 1965. She cleaned homes in Andrews, was a past member of Bible Baptist Church in Andews, where she ran the nursery for 20 years.
She is survived by two daughters, Brenda Joyce Lemmons, Denver, CO., Shawna Lea Criner, Andrews; two sons, Dewey Lynn Carr, Burke, VA., David Lance Carr, Dennison; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
