*Obituary Albert G. Dockall
Albert George Dockall, 92, passed away October 18, 2009 at Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews.

Albert was born April 7, 1917 in Thorndale, Texas to George and Lizzie Dockall.

He served in the US Army from February 1942 until October 1945. He was in the United States for for only 7 months of that time. His specialty was Rifleman, serving in the North of France, and Central Europe. He received EAME Campaign metal with 2 bronze stars.

He married Johnnie West March 10, 1946 in Rockdale, Texas.

They moved from Frankle City to Goldsmith in 1968. He worked for El Paso Natural Gas from the 1950's until 1982. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and sports fan.

He is survived by his wife, Johnnie Dockall; Son - John E. Dockall of Austin, daughter - Barbara Hester of Midland, Sister - Edna Miller of Rockdale, and Mamie Blevins of Houston, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-Grandchildren.

Johnnie Dockall, of Andrews, TX passed away June 7, 2022, in Andrews, TX.

A Graveside Service will be held 11 AM, Monday, June 13, 2022, at the Andrews West Cemetery, with Brother Leslie Boone officiating. Arrangements are under the care of McNett Funeral Home.

Johnnie was born October 19, to John Thomas West and Lillie Dee “Holmes” in Rockdale, TX. She graduated from Rockdale high school and began working as a telephone operator. She then met the love of her life, Albert G. Dockall, and they married in March of 1945, in Rockdale, TX. They were able to spend 64 amazing years together, until his passing in 2009. After she married Albert they became residents of Goldsmith, TX., where she was a housewife and mother and loved it.

Johnnie is survived by her son: John Dockall and wife Laurell.; daughter: Barbara Hester and husband Elvin; grandchildren: Justin Hester and wife Jonna; Hyla Ironside and husband John; Evan Boehler and wife Cheryl; Alana Boehler; and Genevieve Boehler; great grandchildren: Hannah Hester; Ethan Hester and wife Sophia; Katie Hester; Morgan Ironside; and Drew Ironside; great great grandson: Kason Hester; along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband: Albert Dockall; parents: John and Lillie West; and 4 sisters: Clara Skinner, Ena Mae Gee, Gertrude Waddle, and Eunice Roach.

We wish to thank all of the wonderful people at Hospice and the Permian Regional Care Center. Everyone has been so wonderful over these many years. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts
