Thomas “Smiley” Francis, 93, of Andrews passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 in Andrews.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life at 2:00 PM Sunday, December 20, 2015 at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews with Leslie Boone of the Andrews Church of Christ officiating. Thomas was born April 6, 1922 in Paris, Texas to James William Franklin Francis and Myrtle Garrett Francis. He was raised in Tarzan and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Audrey June Reynolds on January 27, 1944 in Midland. They moved to Andrews in 1984 from Carlsbad. He had worked for The Superior Oil Company and Mobil Oil Company for 40 years, and retired as a Production & Construction Foreman. He was a member of the Andrews Church of Christ, where he had served as a Deacon. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 27, 2008. He was also preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, John, James, and Bill Francis, 2 sisters, Jean Flowers and Billie Mae Sander, 1 son, George Thomas Francis, 1 grandson, Billy Stout, 1 great grandson, Hunter North, and 2 son in laws, Gary Hamilton and Harold Stout.
He is survived by his 2 daughters, Janette Lewis and husband Fred, of Odessa and Shirley Stout of Andrews; 6 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.

Audrey Francis, 81, of Andrews passed away Sunday April 27, 2008 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa.
Funeral services will be 4:00 PM Thursday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel in Andrews. Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.
Audrey was born June 27, 1926 in Potosi, Texas. She married Horace Thomas Francis January 27, 1944 in Midland, Texas. They lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Texas and New Mexico.
They moved to Andrews from Midland in 1955, they moved to Tatum, NM in 1968. They returned to Andrews to stay in 1984. She worked as a grocery clerk, waitress but spent most of her time being a home maker, wife, mother, Mema and great Mema.
She loved to cook and sew and she was a member of Parkview Church of Christ in Odessa.
She was preceded in death by, her parents, one son, George Francis, 1 grandson, Bill Stout, four brothers and two sisters.
She is survived by, husband - Thomas Francis of Andrews; Two daughters- Janette Lewis od Odessa, and Shirley Stout of Andrews, one brother - Dow Reynolds of Tacoma, Washington, Six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
