Funeral Mass for Sara Emily Padilla, age 37 of Seminole, Texas, will be celebrated Monday, January 23, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Father Jose De Dios Gonzalez officiating. Rosary will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 from 7 to 8 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Ms. Padilla was born June 30, 1985 to Mirta (Rivas) and Richard Padilla. She married Juan Coronado and was a member of St. James Catholic Church. Sara was a free spirit who loved life; her love of family, animals and the outdoors were her delights. Her memory will live in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. She had a heart of gold, a smile that was contagious, and never met a stranger. Her purpose in life was to take care of her daughter. Everyone who knew her affectionately called her "Padilla."
Sara Padilla passed away at her home in Seminole, on Tuesday, January 17, 2023. She is preceded in death by her father, Richard Padilla, and her grandparents. She is survived by her husband, Juan Coronado of Seminole; one daughter, Eryka Lynn Coronado of Seminole; her mother, Mirta Padilla of Seminole; two brothers, Jesse Reney Padilla and wife Sylvia of Greenwood, Texas, and Lucas Padilla and wife Mary of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Monica Padilla of Seminole, and Amanda Gonzalez and husband Joel of Seminole; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces nephews, and cousins.
