*Obituary Melva North Fry
Melva Fry, 82, of Andrews passed away Monday, June 15, 2015 at Permian Residential Care Center in Andrews.

Visitation will be from 1:00PM - 2:00 PM Wednesday at McNett Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM. Pastor Brant O'Connor from First Baptist Church of Andrews will officiate.

Burial will be in Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home.

Melva was born October 3, 1932 to William and Mattie North. She married H.E. Fry June 16, 1952 in Spur, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1989.

Melva worked at Commercial State Bank in Andrews for many years. She was very proud of her years of service with the Permian General Hospital Ladies Axillary known as the "Pink Ladies" she also served as their President for a time. She loved to sing and was a member of the Victory Singers at First Baptist Church. She was a very talented singer and she even had a chance to sing on the radio at the age of 4.

She is survived by her children, Judy Blades of San Antonio, Texas; Stephen Fry of Bay City, Texas; sisters Ima Gene Tipton of Lubbock and Mary Jo Williams of Oklahoma; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
