Funeral services for Lenna M. McWilliams, 96, of Abilene, and formerly of Lubbock, will be at 11:00 A. M. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church in Matador. Interment will be in East Mound Cemetery at Matador under the direction of Seigler Funeral Home.
Mrs. McWilliams died Tuesday, Mar. 13, in Abilene.
She was born November 24, 1910 near Llano, Texas, and moved to Motley County in 1936. She was married to Walter Varner McWilliams in 1938. They lived in the Whiteflat community until moving to Lubbock in 1960.
She was a retired school teacher and a member of the Highland Baptist Church in Lubbock.
She was preceded in death by an infant son, Joe Varner McWilliams in 1945, and by her husband in 1999. She had made her home with her daughters in Abilene and Frisco, Texas since 2000.
Survivors include: two daughters; Gail King of Frisco, TX, and Glenda Groves of Abilene.
