MATADOR - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Seay, 92, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Methodist Church in Matador with burial in the East Mound Cemetery in Matador by Quitaque Funeral Home.
Officiating will be the Rev. John Fitzgerald, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Carl Oglesby of the Quitaque Methodist Church.
Mrs. Seay died Monday morning in the Lockney Nursing Home, where she had been a patient the last year and a half.
Her husband, Richard Seay, died in April, 1953. They were married Aug. 25, 1894, in Childress.
Mrs. Seay was born in Chickasaw Nation, Okla. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Quitaque.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. J.T. Persons of Quitaque; eight grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
