Funeral Services for Emma "Lou" Mcllwain 85, of Seminole will be held Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Methodist Church with Rev. Charlie Johnson officiating, under the direction of Ratliff Funeral Home.

Lou passed away June 27, 2022 in Seminole.

She was born March 6, 1937 to Haskell and Lottie Mae Miller Riley in Anson. Lou married the love of her life "M.T." December 22, 1954 in Anson. She moved to Seminole in 1964. Lou was a homemaker and farmer all of her life and worked as a former secretary for Gaines County J.P. for 14 years. Lou loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and loved to China paint. She was also a member of the South Seminole Baptist Church.

Lou is preceded in death by her sister Pat Yates.

She is survived by her husband M.T. Mcllwain of 68 years, her son Danny Mcllwain and wife Sherry of Seminole, two daughters Gena Lou Rogers, Lesa Hancock and husband Timmy of Lubbock, brother Mickey Riley of Franklin, Tennessee, seven grandchildren Megan Thompson, Danlee Rich, Ren Ellis, Haley Lambert, Sadie Blundell and Katie Loera along with 12 great-grandchildren.
