Vera Lee Cook Johnson, 85, of Midland died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, in Courtyard Care Center in Midland.
She was born Dec. 21, 1912, in Wall. She married John Johnson on April 4, 1934, in Tahoka. He died April 4, 1996. They moved to Midland from Andrews in 1993.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include five daughters, Mary Uzzle of Fort Worth, Robbie Dillard of Andrews, Joy Bolling of Midland, Iris Rossow of Fort Worth and Maudie Johnson of Hobbs, N.M.; three sons, Charles of Odessa, John of Lewisville and Jimmy of Hobbs; 32 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
