*Obituary Von Dean Heairren Lawson
Von Dean Heairren Lawson, of Andrews, Texas, died Wednesday, August 1, 2012 after a sudden and brief illness.

Von Dean was born on March 9, 1939 to Frankie Lee and Orbie Lee Heairren in Eden, TX. The family moved to Midland, TX in 1942 where she graduated from Midland High School.

Von Dean attended Texas Tech for one year. After her marriage to Ted Lawson, she attended Sul Ross University where she received a BA in education.

Von Dean began her teaching career in Marathon, TX. After a few years of moving around Texas, she and Ted settled in Andrews, where she began teaching fifth grade. Von Dean taught elementary for over 30 years. She loved all of her students and they loved her. She was a shining example of how school teachers should dress and conduct themselves when trying to set a good example for children.

Von Dean is preceded in death by both her parents, and two sisters, LaMoyne Bass and Dephane "Daffy" Tabor.

She is survived by her sister of Midland, nieces and nephews.

Everyone will miss her great sense of humor and laughter.
