*Obituary Mattie Mae Robinson Oliver
Mattie Mae Oliver, 89 passed away Saturday, November, 17, 2012 in Andrews, Texas. Funeral Services will be 2P.M. Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church in Andrews, Texas. Burial will follow in the Andrews West Cemetery under the direction of McNett Funeral Home of Andrews.
Mattie was born August 12, 1926 in Carthage, Texas to Jesse and Delie Robinson. She married A.D. Oliver on October, 5, 1953 in Hunt County Texas.
Mattie worked at the Community Hospital that later became Permian Regional Medical Center in Andrews, TX. Mattie had a big heart. She loved to cook and also taught her kids to cook. Mattie enjoyed drinking coffee with them and often shared many stories. She sold Avon for a while, and was a past member of the eastern star.
She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Oliver and parents Jesse and Delie Robinson.
Mattie is survived by her daughters, Willie Mae McDonald, Betty Anderson both of Garland, TX, Blondiel Oliver, Margo Oliver, Cris Oliver, Crissy Bailey, Jo Armstrong all of Andrews, TX, and Ruby Oliver-Grant of Midland, TX; sons, Raymond Oliver of Andrews, TX, Jesse Oliver and Clyde Oliver both of Odessa, TX.; sister Catherine Smith of Carthage, TX.; brothers Ben Lloyd McCoy of Shreveport, LA, Elroy Robinson of Victorville, CA. Many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
